Welcome to Seren's Wish
“Seren’s Wish is a community charity dedicated to bringing hope, compassion, and practical support to people facing hardship. Through creative wellbeing activities, outreach programmes, and vital resources, we help individuals and families build resilience and feel connected. Annual Gift Appeal
Where it all began, with Seren watching a TV show on Boxing Day and offering to give up her presents to children who through no fault of their own did not get a visit from Santa.
Each year in late September we reach out to schools, social workers and other third sector organisations and ask them to let us know about children and families that might need our help.
We then co-ordinate the creation of each child’s wish list and then we get them a sack load of gifts for Christmas.
Making sure that everyone has the chance to enjoy the magic of Christmas.

Everyday Support for Families
Beyond our seasonal appeals, Seren’s Wish is here every day for families who need us most.
We provide essentials like food, toiletries, and warm clothing, alongside hampers and hygiene packs that ease immediate pressures.
Our team also runs holiday clubs and activities for children, helping to reduce isolation and give every child the chance to enjoy safe, happy experiences.
By meeting practical needs and offering a friendly hand of support, we make sure no family feels alone.

HAF - Holiday Clubs
Serens Wish provides holiday clubs for children aged 8 years plus and for children with additional needs.
These schemes run during the school holidays and are funded by Gloucestershire County Council.
We ran our first session in the summer of 2023 and had over 100 children attend across 5 weeks.
Earlier this year the local authority confirmed that they have secured another 3 years worth of funding
for the program.
